Grabbed an old laptop I was not using and converted it to run an Ubuntu server. Then setup ssh and some basic security, and now do devlopment remotely on it using vscode. I also experimented with a lot of self hosting, namely running my own n8n instance and my own supabase instance, alongside setting up some quality of life things like webmin to stay up to date on the server status. Developed a specialized robot capable of playing golf to assist individuals with physical impairments. The robot was built for May We Help, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating custom solutions for people with special needs.
